Brisbane City Council makes Coordimax-Pinnacle Asset Management a fixture

Sydney, Australia - 28 August 2009 - City Assets are currently managing the collection of the data on the Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FFE) currently in City Hall. One of the outputs of this exercise is a spreadsheet containing the key asset information.

To assist in the ongoing management of the assets and specifically to track their movement during the major City Hall refurbishment project, City Hall Management has selected Pinnacle. Pinnacle is a flexible asset management tool which will allow Brisbane City Council to record asset details and actually plan and track the movement of these loose assets. It also enables disposals and additions to be accurately recorded and provides the users with access to a comprehensive set of reports.

Brisbane City Council is planning to import the information collected during the recent survey into the system, including the population of the base codes to allow them to utilise the system to:

• Manage and track the movement and disposal of FFE assets during the refurbishment project
• Act as the tool for the ongoing management of the FFE asset in the future
